Another render from DS 4.5 Pro using Ring of Light. This time M5 Aiden dressed in Luthbel's Corsair clothes on the Medusa ship.
Rendering Time: 16 minutes 22.63 seconds
Cool stuff Artini! Glad you seem to be having fun with them. One tip I only kind of touched on in the used guide was (if your not using the sky prop) to tilt the Ring up so that the light is coming down from above onto your scene. It's the only way (short of turning off elements of your scene) to get the light down into places like Stonemason's Walled City or the Trinity Atrium etc.
used the sky3 light preset and added a low intensity specular only light
The girl is a custom dialed V4 weightmapped character
The Boston Terriers are freebies, but can't remember where I got them (sharecg or rendo)
Thank you very much, InaneGlory. I think the Ring of Light become my favorite light set.
I have rotated the Ring of Light on X axis to -40 degree, but it was still not enough light in the scene.
Will try to rotate Ring of Light on the other axes.
15Mar2013!? That was before my CG days, tho I'm almost sure I had seen something similar here at daz. Tho I am ashamed to admit, the RAM for my comp took precedence over the vast collection of lights that caught my eye (Especially the Luxus compatible ones). I may be thinking of a different light set in IDG's accumulative collections.
