DAZ Studio Stuck on Load "Connecting to CMS" SOLVED

Had DS crash and then subsequently when attempting to restart the program, it is getting hung up on the load screen with the message "Connecting to CMS . . ." Found some threads here via Google search describing similar but not exactly the same problem and none that were recent or helpful enough to direct me to a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Deleted a "prog" process in task manager and got everything back up and running (I hope).
Wat is a "prog" process? I'm haveing the same problem.
After closing DAZ, several SQL connections were not closed properly and remained open; killing the PostgreSQL Server process(es) in the task manager did the trick
