In search of flip-do hair

I am looking for hair, sort of like Marlo Thomas in 'That Girl' but like a king on a deck of cards but in 3D. You know, that 'flip-do'

Good luck, Nonesuch. I once went on an extended search for just that and came up with zilch. I don't know that there isn't such a thing, but if there is I didn't find it. So its kind of like proving the null hypothesis.

P.S. It is at times like that that I am given to ponder the necessity of learning to roll my own.

There was, a few years ago, a freebie one distributed by Studio Maya. Nozomi Hair by MayaX might be worth looking for at Rendo, though would need morphing to increase the curl.

There used to be one at renderosity with an E-name or an I-name that I bought. Can't think of the name. For v4, so not for wimps people who don't know how to work with parented hair props or Poser style runtime directories, or who don't have Iray hair shaders on hand.

Ali is the vendor whose site is manakoo. His hairs that look like 'flip' hairs to me (aka the ones I had in junior hight) are these:

I had a school picture taken in 8th grade with that 1/2 bang and the little 'turd' roll around the bottom. Everybody had similar styles back then (mid 1960's) but I look at it now and it's cringeworthy to me, LOL!

Must have been a thing with us. That's what we all called that little roll round the bottom.

This ought to be redone for the G3F and G8F figures for Daz Studio. I've said in past posts that there's a lack of 1960s-type hairstyles for those figures here and this is one of those ones.
