Check the log for errors - go to help>Troubleshooting>View log and scroll to the end, just after trying to render. I do wonder if having the render mode set to Cartoon may be part of the problem - only the default DAZ Studio shaders have support for the toon mode..

Render settings > Advanced > render engine > make sure 3Delight is selected. One time I selected scripted 3Delight my renders were black image.

LuxRender needs to be downloaded and installed separately - Luxus is a bridge between DAZ Studio and LuxRender that does a lot of the conversion work for you, but it isn't the renderer itself. http://www.luxrender.net/

    ow ok. Got it. thanks
i really feel than 3delight and LUXUS rendering have their own moods and mind.
Perhaps depending on the lights :-). Now my LUXUS rendering black
(before was beautiful image render) and 3delight rendering so fast in seconds.
Touch wood i like it like that.
