Sorry for just responding to this, but I never got the notification - just happened to come across the thread again today related to another question I received.

No product was ever made. After multiple conversations, it was made clear to me that purely simmed cloth wasn't going to make it into the store. Among other things, I was told that the concerns that not being conforming created outweighed the minor improvement in the look of the shirt.

    alas.

it's a wonderful shirt.  that's about the most realistic dforce draping i've seen.

seems strange to me that the nonconformism is such an issue with the store.  i've seen a few dforce scarf/poncho sort of sets or pieces that load at zero as props, and require simulation to 'dress' a figure.  which must also be zeroed.

you could always try another venue.  or see if someone like sickleyield might be interested in collaborating with you to rig the piece.

however and everything else aside, it's a wonderful piece of work.

    :)

I could make the shirt conforming easy enough. It's the fact that simulating conforming clothing will not end in the same result (ie: the better looking wrinkles). Making it conforming also takes away the ability for a given figure to wear different sizes of the same shirt. These were 2 of the main goals back when I did the project.

Hard to believe this was all over 2 years ago. I'd have thought we'd have some additional physics in DS by now as was hinted at in the original dForce announcement. Oh well - glad you like the shirt ;)

Why not include both options in the product? It would give the base conforming item to beginners while giving the more realistic functionality to people who wanted to fiddle with it. The concept is very good, and the results speak for themselves.
