dForce Wild Winds Outfit for G8

I bought this outfit this morning. It is a beautiful outfit.

I loaded the full outfit onto stock G8 and tried dForce on several easy poses. Each time it crashed. I've tried from an initial pose, and tried a timeline animation. I have spent hours on this. I have the latest 4.10, and I tried 4.11 beta with the same result. There is no warning - it gets a long way through the sim, everything looks good, no jaggies, then Studio terminates.

I have used dForce with other products a fair bit, and for the most part it has been reliable. I know what to avoid (e.g. hands or arms pinning the material etc). Most of my problems have been tears, not crashes, so this is annoying.

Worked without any issues over here. Takes about 10 minutes per sim starting from memorized pose using my GTX 1080ti. Here is a quick test example. The very flowy bits of the dress do tend to explode when the pose traps them or pushes them into each other. But I had no crashes.

What card do youy use? Arer the drivers recent?

I  have a 980. I suspect the driversare not the most recent; on the other hand, I have been using Dforce a lot on other models without incident.

Thanks for the feedback - it will be interesting to see if anyone else has issues. I'll look into the drivers.

  • Not sure in the simulator was the culprit but after I rendered I noticed that the bow for the left boot was in midair above the toes.
