Hi all,

I just downloaded daz 3D but i know nothing about computers,

I have the toshiba Satellite P500 like in next link:

There isn't enough ram and you will need a bigger hard drive.

I tend to agree about the system RAM (4GB is awfully small), but your hard drive is the same size as mine (500GB) and it works fine. To me the bigger concern is the "NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M - 1 GB DDR3 SDRAM". If you use the realistic "Iray" rendering (which is awesome), your renders will be VERY slow, and the 1GB of SDRAM is also awfully small and won't be able to fit many scenes you want to render.

I agree.  Lack of memory and the onboard graphics are going to hold you back.  If you're serious about this--it's really fun--and you have the resources and want a laptop, get a high end gaming laptop.  I have an Alienware 17" G4 (4K display) with 32gb RAM, all SSD storage, and a graphics amplifier with a GTX-1080ti in it.  When you can render quickly, the learning curve becomes much more manageable.  I used to use an eight year old 17" Dell laptop when I first started and was frustrated.  I knew I wanted to do more, but rendering speed held me back.  Now, if you're just experimenting to see if you like it and have a decent computer already, try DAZ with that before spending any money.  If you like DAZ, buy the best you can possibly afford, one time.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to try on your laptop. As long as it meets the minimum requirements you should be able to run Daz Studio and see if you like it. You may be limited to using 3delight (instead of Iray) but there are plenty of people in the forums doing great things with 3delight. You might as well try it first before you spend a bunch of money on something you're not sure about.

Good enough?  I also suggest more ram and hard drive space. It might be okay until you can afford something good enough, but I would not recommend it for 3D.
