can not open hexagon

i am in mohave, I downloaded hexagon , when I open it a popup window  sais"hexagon error directory '//DAZ 3D/' couldn't be created(error 13:permission denied)"  and there is the circle with  turning colours

Did you install it into the default location? It is odd that it is having permissions issues, though not abnormal. (Windows created a whole new set of permissions in windows 10, which many programs do not like.)

I am not going to offer the typical "work-around", as I am told that it creates more potential issues. However, it could be that there is a slight issue with the program. (It is showing forward-slashes, which is a "web folder structure", not a "windows folder structure". But, that may just be a type-o for the error page.)

Are you using the updated 2.5 Beta version, or the older version?
