Why can't I get G8 and G3 to work anymore?

I have,'t got space enough on my C-drive so I want to install DazStudio and the content on another HDD. First I tried and got everything to work in OneDrive, but I have the free version and the space isn't enough there either. It's enough for the base figures but not for clothing or added characters.
So ... I reinstalled it on another HDD (intern) and got G2 to work fine but not G3 or G8. Why??? I have exact the same paths as in OneDrive, except now it's on another drive.
HELP!!!!!

Had you installed the later figures via Connect? Is so, and if you installed to the new location via DIM, then DS will still be trying to use the older files.
Now I have unistalled, reinstalled with DIM and manually on the old path. But I still can't get them to work. Is there a sloution for this problem??
From where did you uninstall?
Both from DIM and manually.
Is it DazStudio or a system register issue ?
It is possible that the product was installed via Connect - find its entry in the Products list in the Content Library and right-click on the folder - the menu, if you are in the right place, will hae either Install or Uninstall - which is it?
I'm sorry. I don't think I found the right place, so I can't answer for sure. I did try to install from Daz My account page directly through download and Install through DIM. But that didn't work either.
Now I've been fiddling around so much I hardley remember what I have done. The latest was to uninstall DazStudio from DIM and reinstall it again. It didn't help. InstallManagerFileRegister. The I saw the file InstallManagerFileRegister.json and wondererd if that one could have been deleted by me when I removed the files manually?!
The latest weird thing is that I clickt on the icon for G8F in the Expolrer here; E:\Ankie_E\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D library\People\Genesis 8 Female and choose open with ... It was fine I could see her. But here's the crazy ... when I right-clickt browse to file location it open this; C:\Users\Ankie\OneDrive\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\People\Genesis 8 Female.
As of now I have her istalled in both places (probably not so smart) ... And I must admit ... I'm totally lost.

Has these files anything to do with my problem. They were installed by DIM.
C:\ProgramData\DAZ 3D\CMS\cmscfg.json it's from PostgreSQL CMS (Win 64-bit) this is just one file. The others are here;
E:\Ankie_E\Users\Program Files\DAZ 3D under DAZStudio4 (607 MB) and PostgreSQL CMS (65,6 MB) The DAZ folder is 673 MB

I believe OneDrive can/does rediect certain folders - this came up in relation to the problem people were having with the first version of the Windows 10 Fall Update. What are you content diectories set as - Edit>Preferences>Content tab>Content Diectory Manager?
Oups!? Now it is both on E:\Ankie_E\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D library\ and C:\Users\Ankie\OneDrive\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\
But I don't know if that it what causes the problem. DazStudio¤ still says it can't find the file for G8 or G3.

Daz Content Data is in E:/Ankie dokument/DAZ 3D/Studio/My Daz Connect Library Is THAT the problem???? In that case. How can I change that?
What about the Daz Studio Format and Poser Format directories?

So bioth of those paths are listed? And that is the correct path for the files (the People folder is in the My Daz 3D Library folder in one or both of them)?
Try finding Geensis Starter Essentials in the products tab of Smart Content and right-click on that - does that give Install or Uninstall?

The People folder is in the My Daz 3D Library folder in both of them. You don't see the People folder here, but you see the paths. Both of them, and the Daz Connect Data, wich I didn't know of before. So my trying to install from Daz, My account did work without me noticeing it.
Well, that's weird - however, it doesn't have the downward triangle ina circle icon that means it is not installed via Connect so it probably is (and so you should have an Uninstall option). If you go to the My Daz Connect Library folder, does it have a \data\cloud\1_42071 folder?
By the way, the Snipping tool (Windows button>Windows Accessories>Snipping tool) will give better, and easier, screen shots than using your phone.
Yes it has and a folder meta, with lots of small icons and *.json-files
Yes I know about the snipping tool, but it doesn't work when you have right-clicked on something. Then I just went on with the phone, not using my brain. It was occupied with "more important" stuff
How big is the 1_42071 folder?
559 MB the meta folder is 18 MB
559MB matches mine, so it certainly looks as if you have a compleet connect install there (the Meta folder isn't relevant to this).
Aha, possibly - I just looked again at the paths - in the Windows view you have Dokument/Daz 3D/Studio/My Daz Connect Library, but in Content Directory Manager it's Ankie's Dokument/Daz 3D/Studio/My Daz Connect Library - I'm pretty sure Windows sees those as two different locations, which would be why the files aren't being found.
Well so much have I also figured out. How do I get all of the stuff to the E:\\ drive here;
E:\Ankie_E\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D library ?
Of course they are different locations. The 1_42071 folder is under;
E:\Ankies dokument\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Daz Connect Library\data\cloud\1_42071

The upper location is where I want all my files.
Can I move them manually? Or how do I uninstall them, and then reinstall them at the right (my right) place?
It is OK to move them, the database uses relative paths so as long as they are correctly placed in the content diectory they will load regardless of what the content directory is called or where it is located.
