DS refuses to open

Ever since Michael came and went I am unable to open DS.  Michael ripped out two trees in my yard and caused the power to go out for a day or so.  The internet has not come back up yet.  I am trying to upload the files to help figure out why it is crashing, but it is taking its time uploading.

Trying again to upload the files but there seems to be no way to do that.

I am posting screenshots to see if this can help.  Maybe uploading the zip would be better.

It appears your graphics drivers where reset by Windows.

It's the Intel GPU driver, that issue seems to have bitten several users. Make sure you are using the nVidia GPU for DS (assuming your system has one).

I went to device manager and changed the driver for the GPU to something that was not the latest and now DS opens.  Actually opened it twice because I am slightly tired.

DS just crashed today and I am not sure why.

How do I find out why DS just closed suddenly if nothing notified that it crashed other than the fact it was no longer open.
