Using "Send to ZBrush" on selected szene object only

Hello.

I use the "Send to ZBrush" command in Daz3D 4.10 and it works fine.

Only problem is, that it allways transfers the whole model (with shoes, dress...) to ZBrush.

Is there a way to select a single part (like only the body) to be transferred as a single object, only?

It makes no difference what i select in the scene tab. Daz allways transfers the whole model.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

  • Something like Unparent or Un-Fit the conforming items like shoes, dress... will prevent them to get send over to ZBrush. Unparent or Un-Fit can be found in the right-click menu of the Scene pane. Just Ctrl+click on those items to select every conforming item and then right-clicking on one of them brings up the menu. I'm not shure about Unparent but I guess selecting Fit To from the menu then selecting None will definitely work. 'Fit' everything back to the figure works the same. This saves you from fitting everything back one by one.

    Thank you!

    It works with the "fit to" option set to "none".

    I had only tried the "unparent" option with no luck.

    @Syrus_Dante: Thank you very much!

    Another alternative is to simply hide the other components when you are in Zbrush. Select the Subtool menu, select the subtool (eg a clothing item) you don't want to work on and click in the "ball" icon top right of the subtool.

    If you make a morph on any subtool (eg a clothing item or the figure itself) and then GoZ back to DS, you will be able to add that morph onto that figure/item.

    Have fun.

  • @IsaacNewton: Thats a good idea, as well.

    Im really having fun with GoZ. Amazing possibilities!

    Thank you!
