Anodized Shaders

I recently installed DS 4.11.0.236, and everything works fine, except for the Anodized Shaders by Dimension Theory. Every single one comes out black. So, I went back to my previous version of DS, just to check it isn`t something I`ve done wrong, and they all work fine.

I deleted all the files, downloaded again and re-installed, but they are all still black.

Any ideas what has happened? I really love these shaders, so I`m not going to be happy if I`ve lost them forever.

  • Is theer anything in the sceen for them to reflect? perhaps there's a diffrence in the settings for environment for the two systems.

  • The settings are both the same, it isn`t even reflection as such, even in a dark environment you can still see the base color, but in the latest DS build, they are just flat black.

  • Ok, I just noticed something that has appeared and I`m wondering if this might be causing the issue.

    When I use a basic gold metal texture, you can see it shows up fine, with a little reflection, but the second image with the anodized shader applied, is just flat black.

    I noticed a new line in the surface list called `lines` and I dont think I`ve seen that before. Could this be what is causing the problems? It isn`t showing in other shaders I`ve tried.
