GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC 11GB or the GeForce RTX 2080 8GB

I'm looking at buying a new video card. Is the added expense of $450 worth going to the 11gb Ti? Anyone have any experience with either card. I'm wondering if I would see a noticable difference with the Ti or is the standard 2080 8GB going to give about the same performance?

There is a noticeable difference in performance according to the benchmarks. It's not a huge difference though. Plus the 3Gb of VRAM would mean bigger scenes could be rendered before dropping into CPU.
The question is, is that worth $450 dollars to you.
Is there a problem with 2080 series of cards meshing with Daz or has that been resolved?
You need 4.11 for support for the 20x0 cards, currently that's a public beta while 4.10.0.123 is the release build (and doesn't support the new cards).
Newb question, when is the eta for the public beta going live? A week, a few months, only the Gods really know? If it's going to be soon I think I would wait.
As you can run both; i wouldnt worry.
