Mojave and Daz Studio 32bit

hey folks,
im using DS 32bit on a current project, purely for the lip sync plugin. I’m wanting to clarify whether the 32bit version will install and run on Mac OS Mojave or not?
Thanks
Adam :)

Hi Adam
You Might try sending a PM to a user here @Sven Dullah
He is a Mac/DS user who might possibly know about running 32 bit.DS.
We have a reached a point, in computing, where one may have to keep an
old second Machine "alive" in ones pipeline only for the purpose of running older OS's
and the Old Apps that have no modern day equivalents.
About a year ago,Someone ,on their way to the rubbish bin, actually
Knocked on my door and offered me an Old compaq tower PC with a 500 gig hard drive
windows Vista ( Arrggh!) ..
I snatched it up and immediately installed two Older 32 bit windows
Apps that are not supported on windows 10.
Natural Motion's Endorphin and the old but venerable Mimic pro 3.
I create my Endorphin Ragdoll physics BVH and mimic pro lipsinc pose files and drop
save them into a shared folder on my network.
If all else fails with Mohave & 32 bit,
You can buy the 64bit mimic live plugin from Daz and technically use
Pre-recorded audio tracks using the trick I described in this thread:
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/115371/for-my-fellow-animators-using-mimic-live
Mind you this only works with a second computer/laptop sound card as the Feed out audio source.
Devices like Smart phones or Mp3 players will not work AFIAK.
Thanks Wolf,
i’ve messaged Sven now.
Yeah it’s a pain with OS upgrades and app deaths. I can of course setup alternate system boot disks or partitions if necessary, but I agree that sometimes you just need to leave a machine at its last compatible OS, and keep all your old faithful apps on it!
