Rendering movies are black

Hello,

Some month ago, I did some movies for fun with the OpenGL render, much enough quality for me.

This week, I wanted to make a new movie but the result is always black, no matter the render I use, OpenGL, 3Delight and Iray as well. I tried a lot of render setting without success, the best I had is a green screen at the last frame instead of a black screen !

Rendering a still image or an image serie is working as previously.

What's happend, any idea will be appréciated.

    Are you rendering to an image sequence or an .avi/.mov file? if the latter, try the former - it may be a codec issue.

    Hello Richard, thank for your fast reply.

    I try to render an avi movie. In fact, I'm unable to export a .mov file, in the render configuration I have only the avi option.

    What do you mean by "try the former", sorry, English is not my main language.

    There are two options - Image Sequence, which I recommend you try, or .avi/.mov - which you get depends on whether you are on Windows or Mac (Windows gets .avi files, Macs get .mov). Image Sequence will give you a PNG file for each frame, which you can then assemble into a final animation - this isa ctually what Daz Studio does, it creates the PNGs during the render then turns them into an .avi file at the end after it asks you which codec to use.

    I've tried it and assembled these pictures with VirtualDub and this is working like a charm.
