SimTenero Shape Reprojector help

I've worked through the demo in the documentation and that works just fine. I can see how to merge primitives onto figures.

BUT, what I'm really looking to do is to take a human figure and project it onto a plane or cube. That way, it would be a mould or such.

This is even shown in one of the store sample scenes.

BUT, that's where I'm failing. I've even tried something simple,.projecting a sphere onto a cube but there's no depression in the cube once it finishes. I'm not sure if any settings on the parameter pages would do this or just what.

Any suggestions or atep by step to do this would be appreciated.

  • How many divisions does the cube have? The plug-in doesn't add geometry, it just manipualtes what is there, so if there are not enough vertices to follow the shape you will get little or no effect.

  • I've put in a lot, 100 divisions. Less or more doesn't seem to make any "indent" into surface.
  • Anybody even have a contact with them to ask question? Web page "under construction".
