Dialing back character features for Genesis 8 characters?

When using characters in Poser, frequently the added features that created the character -- the head and body morphs-- were added in such a way that they created a dial that enables the user to dial back the character's features and to achieve something in between the character and the base figure's original look.

I don't see in Daz Studio where that is possible. Is it? For instance, in using Kaylee 8, there appears to be no way to to reduce the overall amount of the "Kaylee" features to create a more custom look.

You'll find the morph dials in the "Parameters" tab (all morphs), and in the "posing" or "shaping" tab depending on what kind of morph it is.

  • Neither under shaping nor under posing do there appear to be morphs that increase or lessen the effect of the overall character appearance. So I assume it's not possible.

There is a morph for Kaylee 8. Actually there should be 3: one full body, one head only, and one for the ears shape. You should see them when you have the figure selected.

They're under parameters.. you would navigate down to the 'Head' portion of the actor tree.

  • Thank you! I found them. They look different from the other sliders in that they have images of the character on them. I appreciate your help.
