Genesis 8 figures just don't render...

Hi there,

I've tried a few times to render Genesis 8 based figures, such as Kikyo, but rendering stops at 8% and my MacBook Pro 13 inch with OS10.10 just starts spinning a fan without progress. It gets heat but stop rendering. What's going on?

This is using Iray? If you check the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File) just after a failed render does it give any errors at the end (before the new session started if you use DS to open it)?
