Broken or non-existent metadata

I keep seeing this question pop up on the forum, but I haven't managed to find an answer - especially not one that's confirmed to work in Daz 4.10!
I have two big goals right now:
1) Create smart data for freebie clothing (e.g. all of Wilmap's fantastic stuff)
2) Get stuff out of the "Lost and Found" purgatory
Does anyone know how to fix this stuff?

All of my items already have metadata included. No need to add any.
Lost and Found just means not otherwise categorised - if a product has any files that are not categorised it will appear in Lost and Found. Categroising the files will fix that, though it isn't a major issue if the uncategorised things are just informational thumbnails or the like.
@Wilmap - That's awesome. Do you know how to get your items to show up in Smart Content, then?
As an aside - thank you so much for all the amazing products you've created. When I first started Daz (not all that long ago), I used your clothing as my standard for figuring out the quality of products. If something didn't look as good or work as well as your freebies, it wasn't worth spending money on. And I really, really appreciate the variety of clothing you have for genesis and gen2. It's so hard to find anything even approaching historically accuracte clothing; your products are some of the best out there, paid products included!
@Richard_Haseltine - I agree, informational thumbnails ending up in Lost and Found isn't a big deal, but my Lost and Found is stuffed. It's not just the V4-era stuff, almost none of which seemes to have smart data. A lot of products for Gen3 and Gen8 have the same issues. And yes, recatagorizing is possible - but when the recatagorized files still don't show up when I filter by content, it's still an issue.
If you select the item they should appear in Smart Content. I tested all products and they all showed up as you would expect.
