Presets/Pre Renders/Tutorial to lighting interiors easily?

I'm a little lost with so many types of lighting.
I have seen that there are several HDRI Iray presets in the store to illuminate (outdoors) in a simple way and get started with extraordinary results.
Is there a preset that applies interior lighting recommended and easily configurable to start?

P.D: I have done tests with the typical 3 points of light manually, but it is quite complicated to illuminate always when starting.

Thank you

One way is to use the Iray Ghost Light Kit (https://www.daz3d.com/iray-ghost-light-kit). It allows you to get quick lighting using mesh lights.

  • Thank you very much for the recommendation.
From what I see before buying it, it is a kind of unique light mesh that illuminates the entire plane where it points. Although I see that you can add several to combine them.

Yes, that basically sums it up. I like the product because there are lots of presets and quick-clicks to change the lumens and light color.

I use the Ghost Lights a LOT on my interior renders. It's a product I categorize as a "time saver". Because technically you could accomplish the same effects using simple plane primitives. However the utility comes in how quickly you can get it setup and adjusted instead of having to fiddle with a lot of the settings yourself. I use them not only to mimic "real" light, like coming in from windows, but also as bounce or fill lights to add light where I need it to get the effect I want without having to try to model out how the lighting in the room would "really" look.

Marshian created a number of lighting products, one of which is Architectural Lighting Rig for Iray. It is designed for interior lighting.
