DIM issues

I'm having major issues with DIM. It is not installing or uninstalling any content. It reads all of the zip files in the manifest archive every time I hit the refresh button. Once I install anything, all that info dissapears when I refresh. DIM is starting up postgres, but does not appear to store anything in CMS. The attached images show the initial state with nothing installed. I install one package (2nd image), and it's information is shown in dim (3rd image). Once I refresh, all the installed items dissapear, and it thrashes through the zip files again (4th image). Because of the amount of content, it takes about an hour and a half to re-read through all of the DIM zip folders. I have uninstalled and re-installed DIM, CMS and Studio to no avail. The DIM log indicates the correct folders and CMS connectivity, yet isn't retaining any of the install information. As per images, it is DIM 1.2.0.6 (64 bit) version, CMS is PostgreSQL 9.3.4. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I have over ten times as many files in DIM as you, and it takes nowhere near an hour to populate. Something is interfering with the process - the first suspicion would be your security software.
Thanks for your response. I have disabled the antivirus, but it is still taking a long time. Looking at it via the process monitor, it seems to be creating an InstallManagerFileRegister json file up to a certain point. Could a corrupted zip file be causing some funnies? I'd hate to redownload everything. Will try to see if a zip manager picks up anything.
All the zip files check out fine in 7zip. I re-installed everything for Daz and Poser only (no Carrara / Bryce items) but DIM seems to think otherwise (1st image). After restarting DIM, everything is showing as installed as per 2nd image, sans size or detail. According to the log below, CMS is present. DIM seems to be missing something. On startup, all files move from the Ready To Download tab to the Ready to Install tab before automagically appearing as installed. Any ideas about the meaning of the missing tags messages or the useEmbedded supplement messages?

The Carrara fiels are for soem of the Victoria 4 Elite sets, which had separate isntallers for Poser, DS, and Carrara - you can hide the Carrara ones in Ready to Download by specific right-click or by unchecking Carrara in the Download Filters dialogue (this doesn't affect ready to Install, however).
The lack of tags should be reported to Technical Support, but it won't be affecting the rest of DIM.
Where are you keeping your Manifests?
Don't have the manifest files folder be the same as the Download folder. The manifest file created is .dsx file and will overwrite a .dsx file that is part of the product download. Probably shouldn't have the thumbnails going to the download folder either.
The Manifest in the Downloads folder is not the same as the install manifest - if you have them both pointed to the same folder that may well explain your issue as I think DIM will find that the correct manifest for the zip is missing and generate it, overwriting the install manifest, then since it can't find the install manifest it will report the item as not installed so you reinstall and the install manifest overwrites the package manifest - doing all that overwriting would also account for the time taken.
Thanks Richard and jestmart. I think your suggestions took care of the slowness issue. From previous log, a refresh took about 104 seconds. Moving the images and manifest files: User Data Refresh: Elapsed Time 2 sec 309 msec
DIM is more responsive, and loads up in no time at all. It's also reading the dsx files instead of the zips Now I'll probably have to re-install to get the rest of the tags, but since the files are physically present Studio sees them fine, so I'll do that over time. I think this one's probably solved. Thanks again for the help. Much appreciated!
Definitely solved! Re-installed a few packages, closed down DIM, rebooted, restarted DIM - files and tags remain, operation normal! Yay!
