using a transparent shader help

I don't have a screenshot to post atm but what is happening is this.. I am using a cloak with hood on genesis 8 and apply a semi trasparent or sheer material shader but instead of showing her hair through the hood it is showing her bald head. I want the hair to show through of course. Is there a fix for this? Thanks for any help.

    What you described sounds normal for what happens in thew view port, which only uses OpenGL for display.  This always happens when you have one trasparent surface over another.  It should render just fine however, in both Iray or 3Delight.  Do a test render, if it renders fine then you are ok.  If she is bald when rendered, then there is a problem, but I doubt that will happen.

    Thank you will do the test render (should have thought of that) ;)
