Exporting weapon with all the add-ons to it Scope, Magazine,...

Hello I apologize for my bad English.

I bought a pack of weapons that were created with Daz3D, I have not worked with this program so far and I need some help.
I'm trying to export (FBX) the weapon with all the add-ons to it Scope, Magazine,...  but when I open the weapon in 3ds Max I can not move or hide these add-ons Scope, Magazine,...
Can you tell me something special when exporting?

What is the weapon you are exporting?

Can you please post a screen shot of your export settings from Daz Studio that you used?

  • Hello Mattymanx here is a picture.
I tried all sorts of options, but I could not handle it.

    Sorry for the late reply.

Ok, I dont own that rifle, which I can tell is from this set - https://www.daz3d.com/urban-sniper-rifle

The product page lists the addons as being smart props, which means they should be seperate, but the rifle you have in the scene shows them as part of the body, since they show up as bones.

Is there a preset that allows you to load just the rifle without any addons?  If so, load it up and export it.  You should be able to load the smart props into place without having the rifle selected.  Then you can export those one at a time as OBJ or FBX.

Please remember to only have the item you want to export be visable in the viewport.  Otherwise all visable items in the scene will get exported as a single item.
