I am more or less a newbie here, only dabbling with DAZ Studio and buying Pro Bundles since last year; nevertheless, this one is the worst offer of a Pro Bundle I have seen so far.
Not only the overall quality of a lot of assets inside the bundles seems to get worse and worse, outright sloppy made, recently, also the offers get worse and worse, too.
But this one tops everything if it is not a glitch.
Purple banner arrived. This will be an expensive day. I quite like Babina.
Okay, just got that 20%-off-coupon now, but without those regular free items - whose sum had decreased anyways with the last few bundles -, it still seems not a really good offer.
Unless you still lack some older Pro Bundles because you can have them with the coupon for $37.78.
Still pondering to invest this time.

She a new favorite DAZ Original core realistic female character to me. In my eyes, this is the 'California Model Beach Babe Digital Barbie' that Victoria the flagship female should be.
I saw Charlotte 8 as what Victoria should have been. To me, Babina is the face of Lilith 8.
Yes, of course. Party girl? Fits my interests exactly. If the outfits were less modest, I'd want it all.
Only needing one add on to maximize the discount? I have to pick amongst a lot of kinda interesting things. It's difficult to know without getting my hands on the outfits.
Probably more worthwhile to grab stuff out of the other categories rather than a pile of Babina items...
I got Babina and Kimm for Babina. Muscles, eyes, bends ... that's a good reason for me.

It seems they're not wanting to budge from the blanket 40% off/50% off two or more items they've been running for the PA sale. This whole sale has been kind of a let down because of that. The discounts aren't good enough. I think most of the items I've bought have been from Fast Grab or Flash Sales with higher discounts. I'm glad they've upped their game in the Fast Grab category though with much newer items than they used to run.
I'm the opposite. I like Babina, but Maarah is too similar to the other models by that PA that I already own.
Speaking of Fast Grab, they skipped adding items today.
Files are missing from the DIM of dForce Vellus Hair. I'm getting gray blocks instead.
And if you look to the top left of this screenshot where you see a "1" with arrows on either side you can click those arrows to show the next "page" of content as well.
I really like Babina, she looks like a good base with the HD addon for me to build on for new characters, kinda like how Victoria 8 is. Unfortunately there really isn't anything in any of the bundles that interests me, not that I ever really purchase a pro bundle.
Once again, I despair at people rating a base figure depending on which extras they do or don't get in bundles... What gets included in those is irrelevant to the base figure's artistic worth. All you're doing is rating the marketing department's decision-making, not whether or not the actual character is any good. Most customers won't be able to afford the bundles, in any case. I know I've hardly ever bought any.
Look at the figure - forget whichever hair it happens to be posed with. As purely a figure in a bald configuration (as any figure can be used with any hair product compatible with its generation), is the shape and/or skin particularly useful? Or will it somehow add something unique to the diverse range of presently avilable characters, such as unusual shaping morphs, intriguing cosmetic options or eyes? Or is it largely something which already exists elsewhere?

I think Babina is very pretty, reminds me of an actress or model who I can't quite seem to name, but for the genres I do, I don't see much of a use for me personally for really any of her outfits. Guess I will pass on the pro bundle, especially without the banner discount that isn't available to me. I think I will just get the character alone and one of the other new items for the discount. I'm still doing the happy dance over the Centaurs, lol.
there is no incentive to buy anything other than 2 item to bring the discount to 50%. I like the character overall. so maybe Pro package, or maybe just Babino and her HD product.
Eh, another generic white girl model. Another case of Love the clothing/hair options but couldn't care less for the model itself.
Kinda keep hoping for more Sakura esque anime figures but alas.
Daz marketing strategy is just that...turning the DAZ math into a hobby;)
That's what my purple banner says too. Since I've purchased 10 or more Genesis 8 Pro Bundles I'll get a 20% discount on any one order today. It expires today Sept 5th. Seems like an extremely narrow window to me. I've got til the end of today CST, and Daz is in MST which is an hour behind us, so chop chop.
Yeah, really you could mark this as an add on shape for almost ANY of the non-toon white girl G8 models and nobody would bat an eye. Her clothing and hair and pose options in the bundle are nice but Bambina is super forgetable on her own.
We need more diversity, a new Native American gal, a stylized anime gal (and I mean actually looks like anime, not 'making a doll figure with big eyes and calling it a day' ), just something different.

Does anyone else think it's kind of weird that we're getting so many new base figures figures rushed out so quickly? Poor Diego came out on August 22nd and got kicked out early, then we had the Centaur 8s on August 30th, and here we are on September 5th with the fourth new official base figure in 15 days? Especially since we're in the middle of a sale thatt's supposed to be promoting PAs, not DAZ original product?
And that's not the only way that it feels like DAZ is rushing. I did eventually get a purple banner offer - not surprising since I own every G8 base figure and bought the Pro Bundles for all but Elllios and Ollie, BUT, and this is a DAZ Troll sized but, it's only good until the end of the day.
C'mon guys, you can't just dial in Victoria 8 and Olympia 8 both at 50% and then sell that as a new character!
The reason I like this release (other than the fact that I like the character) is the 20% coupon. As you said, we're in the middle of the PA sale. To be honest, I find the sale a bit underwhelming. We're used to 60% sales throughout the year, so a 50% sale is just not something that gets me excited. With the 20% coupon of Babina, I can get quite a few of the PA sale items that I would otherwise just ignore.
if you got the 20% off purple banner and grab Babs and her HD it'll be about $23.78 US ($36.67 Australian for me) but if you did get the banner and get these two items like me don't wait too long as in the fine print that bonus is only good for one day expires before midnight your Thursday
