It works without problems the other way around, load skybox first, figure later.

It's just not my normal workflow, as I usually decide on the environment in a later step, and often change it, including the skies. :-)

OK. THat's good to know. I'm composing a message to FlipMode already. I'll get it resolved.

    Beautiful work everyone!
It seems the polar bear is a current favorite. :)

Love seeing what you all are doing!

(As for what poser files are in the download, you will have to wait for DAZ on that, I have no way of telling anything in that regard. So contact customer service)

Here is another render I made.....was going for a Frazetta type of look.

Wow if only I could do some renders like that! I'm running behind but this is going into my cart now. ***** ok now that I officially said something that belongs in this thread lol - any plans on revisiting Ape World and Dog World? *****

Thanks. I guess I missed that.

I don't read much any more. I just look at the pictures. :)

Just to finish this up and not shanghai RawArt's thread: This behavior of the FM skydome can be stopped by adding a NULL into the scene after the last LAMH preset has been added. The NULL will keep the SkyBox script from stealing the LAMH node. I am working with Flipmode to fix the issue.

Now, back to RawArt's excellent Bear Clan!

Oooohhh...love these bears, especially the panda. I have a feeling a Lorewalker Cho render will be in my future. Great work!

LOL that's what I was thinking of. :)

What's so unusual about the Skybox script? I thought it was just a materials preset.

The bears are looking good. One little query, though; I've run a quickie test render, and it looks like posing the arms right down leaves the shoulders with what looks like the skin underneath clearly visible through very sparse fur. I noticed the guide hairs were very stretched out in that area just before rendering. The rest of the fur looks great. Is there any easy way around this? Maybe just use a higher hair quantity than the preset of 450000?

It is quite involved. There is a rather lengthy .dsa (792 lines) that has a subtle error in it. The error will affect many things, however, it seems that LAMH was the item that brought out the error in a visible manner.

A higher quantity might help. If you have the full plugin, then you can adjust the guides there slightly to cover the area.

Hmm, I've used those skyboxes regularly since the first one came out, and never had a problem or even a weirdness with them before now. Ah well, if it's a phase-of-the-moon bug, all we can do is play whack-a-mole... ;-)

WOW! Before it even registered that I *might* buy Bear Clan, it was already through the checkout process and done. I haven't been this excited about a figure in a very long time. (THANKS for that!) And pictures like the promo Samurai Panda, your 'Frazetta' style and others are exactly why this character has ignited my imagination. I second the comment of thanks for making Genesis 1 characters. Can't wait to spend some quality time with Bear Clan.

Was randomly checking documentation for products and noticed the fix was posted on the 14th. Redownloaded it, and the problem was gone! Thanks!

This was more of a very quick 'goof' for a laugh, but somehow I still like it even after the joke has aged.
This is a Bear Clan quick render Photoshopped over a stock image of someone in a fur parka. I may redo a refined version at some point, but thought I'd share it here just as a reminder to people to think outside the (render) box.

Has anyone tried to use this for creating a Chewbacca-alike? I have a feeling it might be a good base model if the rest is slimmed down to more human-like proportions.
