Question. Wasn't this a Daz Original?
I saw that the discount was no longer 51% (value up to 107/17) and is only 30% and still in the two week debut release period. Further inspection shows Hamster as the only PA. So is this a mistake now, or was it catalogued as DO by mistake originally?
Is this product only for animation?
You need to use animation to pose it, but it works better with single frames than animation - the body does not always return to normal shape after manipulation
I've been looking this product over for some time now and it seems that it may work as advertised. Will wait until I am a lot more dforce savvy as it has to do with the understanding of dforce weight maps and right now I know bupkis about dforce. I need to curb my enthusiasm as I've bought products requiring knowledge beyond my current level at the time only to be disappointed months later when actually trying to use them. I've bought some of Hamster's characters that I have yet to install but am happy at first glance. Any glute or genital product that works realistically under dforce would be a welcome one.
Shortly after I started in this "hobby" some years ago, way before dForce, I had ideas of creating my own gravity based methodology for body parts, clothing etc. It was based on solid physics, unlike dForce, where the density of an object and its connections to other objects and its surroundings would determine its behavior under a gravitational field (basic physics 101 equatons + some basic ordinary differential equations (which do a half way decent job modeling connective tissue (bone, cartilage, fat), skin, muscles, ligaments, tendons). A default set of attributes would be set for a 1G environment but the user could set object attributes to whatever to model terrans/alien species/superheros (e.g. mr. fantastic) in varying G environments. I gave up though when I tried to interface the initial ideas with the outdated and unintelligible sdk. If I ever want to attempt this again, looks like I first have to port my skills to python (almost identical to Daz script) and then figure out what Daz script's internal functions actually do as there is nothing useful out there (please don't mention the cold season bros to me as I've never paid so much for simple syntactical information about a programming language in my life. Even the very best books only run $50).
And so the journey continues. Booby traps, lol. Leave it to you SimonJM. Have fun everyone. :)
Does anybody have any updates on how this product is working lately, I purchased it but didn't have very much luck with animation. I saw there was a update in DIM for it but I was wonding if anyone has it working correctly now.
It's just dforce, no helpers, no tricks.Best wishes.
