    One of the first renders of Twosret 8 - I really like her and the outfit in the bundle looks great.

    @WendyLuvsCatz

    It is very similar to the one by The Rowhouse but it quite a bit different if you compare them. In the image above, the edge design and the jewels are different. The feathers are also arranged differently and the cap from which the feathers protrude is very different from the Rowhouse one. It is actually closer in design to the old V4 egyptian headdress, but it is a more detailed model.

    Ok here she looks quite a bit darker than the promos. See seemed too light skin in the promos to be egyptian, maybe not in cleopatras time perhaps. Were you using default settings for the skin in your two renders?
    Her skin in your renders is what comes to my mind when I think egyptian. I'm much happier with this than what I noticed in the promos.

    I am not sure which of the translucency options I went with for her. I generally will pick default for my first test render. I had looked at wikipedia and saw the below picture of two Eqyptian women and one looked so much like her, and her coloring seemed to be a match. I also tried to pick light that would not wash her out either.

    It's one of those "close, but not the same" things. The geometry is off, it's not just the matt zones.

    I'm not placing it.But if someone wants to hunt, they'll unclover a lot of ancinent Egyptian stuff. There's a lot f it out there. Some of it possibly from old sites that have disappeared, or freebies.

    Yeah it's a hard one as it looks so similar to others. It looks a LOT like the row house one at rendo, but the "round buttons" are smaller and more close together here on this one. Unless that front part is from a totally different product....like something Lilflame did for V4...thinking, thinking...... i have an image in my head, of a product available at RDNA....they were like fascinators, but went on the top of the forehead....

    It's not quite the same. The front on the top of the forehead is different, with just one snake also. It's very similar, but not quite.

    Ha! Well, that one was relatively simple... just a mash-up of midnight_stories' Sky Gods, Arcadia Wings (I maybe should have gone with the Horus wings, but whatever... I wasn't going for uniform), the new hairstyle. I was only going for close with the headdress, and yes, it could be explained as an ancient relic or crown of a different origin.

    I think I default to midnight_stories for a lot of the threads with new base characters. Not often that I haul out the Sky Gods, though. LOL.

    I do like Sci Fi, so a Stargate or otherwise Egyptian-style mashup would be appreciated. (AcharyaPolina and mignight_stories come to mind for that... although I realize I don't have all the sci-fi Egyptian stuff in the store, LOL.)

    I tried out Deepsea's Ramses HD today and went for a Victorian look for him. There are no adjustment settings, so this is total default for his skin. He makes a nice, middle-aged male character. There are various skin options for loading, I just used the default one. Left the bald head for another time.

    Well, I had no intention of getting it, but the 20% off the entire cart plus the other percentages off the cart with the three addons made it basically free after adding to a big cart the other day and made everything else in the cart go down to 80% off so, now I have it. Rendering now.

    BUT, the papyrus outfit has NO textures or materials at all and everything loads just white. Is anyone else having this problem?
