I think I like this bundle better than the 1st.

That said, not liking this trend of Daz splitting up One "normal" sized bundle into Two tiny bundles and charging more money overall.
I really like the base character for the 1st bundle, but prefer the clothes in this one. I already have this bundles hair.

The wings remind me of the ones in that Grimes video project.
I like this bundle better. I'm glad I passed on yesterday's. But if Daz is going to throw a Genesis 3 hair that I already own into a Genesis 8 bundle, why not give me a further discount on the bundle or include a fit for Genesis 8?
I don't understand why it is called the "Millawa 8" Cryomancer Bundle when it does not include the Millawa 8 character.
I'm struggling to see what the difference is between these 2 products, earlier one I already have, that would make me want to spend another $20

Is it just another vendor and Daz trying to make as much cash out of their customers as they can without any real effort.
Have no idea, but I assume it's because people complained about getting Kjaer 8 in both of his bundles since they "got the same character twice" and they didn't get any sort of discount for owning him.
Seems like it's less of a hassle to exclude her in the second bundle.
Well, the new ones seem cheaper (base price without discounts), and they come with built-in support for G8M. I'm not sure what advantages the old product holds over the new one. Maybe some alternative textures or material zone layout?
I wondered what was the difference too at first, and then I saw that the new one includes a G8M version.
A fit for G8M isn't worth buying a product again, they are easy enough to parent to any figure, personally I see it as a bit of a rip off, I'm gettting really tired of being nickle and dimed to death here by vendors.
Me too, but I've had issues in the past autofitting AprilYSH hair to Genesis 8 and losing some of the morph functionality.
Oh, I thought those wings looked familiar! Wow, the new Daz is becoming shameless.
Don't use autofit for long G3 hair, it results in ugly bumps around the neck, even if you select the "Shoulder Length Hair" option.
(A problem that I don't usually observe on G2 and Genesis hair, strangely.)
Either parent it or use a converter. And I think there's a trick to make DAZ Studio think your G3 hair is G8, but I have yet to research this further.

I got curious about that "trick" and looked it up, I had meant to look into this for a long time anyway:
I didn't find the "Hamburger symbol", but you can change the Scene Identification by going Edit -> Figure -> Scene Identification.

i got a 10% off but its for yesterdays bundle, which I did buy yesterday.
While I don't think I have a use for much of the bundle pieces right now, I will say I really like Zhao
I also think the Cryolab looks great
I'd say it's likely a mistake. Given the general chaos going on, plain old human error is quite possible and far more likely than some insidious plan to rip off customers.
Well, I'm irritated. I got a 20% off the first bundle purple banner... and then today, a 10% off the first bundle purple banner (why? I bought it yesterday?), and the 10% off both if you buy both today...
If they're trying to train me to not buy bundles until I get a better offer, it's working. That's an additional 19% off bundle one I didn't get and 10% off bundle 2 I can't get because I'm not buying them both today.
So at this point, I'm going to sit on it until tonight and see if the situation changes.

Whats the 'mistake' the release of the new product?
There's no mistake, the older product is for G8F and the new one is for both G8F and G8M.
And given how minor a change that is, it hardly warrants being considered a new product. If it were clothing fit to a new figure, sure. But wings just need to be moved into place on a character. Also given that the new Daz Original version contains the entire original product plus a G8M fit, it's truly unlikely that the original product was intended to remain in the store. I've bounced a ticket to see if it's intentional but I don't buy into the malicious intent that Scorpio is implying here. It just seems more likely that something that was meant to be a change of ownership and update of a product was accidently packaged as a new SKU.
Wow, thanks for mentioning this! I already have the first wings. I had the bundle in my cart waiting to see if the price goes down for owning the first bundle and the hair, but now this! Unless the bundle goes down 50%, definitely deleting it!
I'll admit the name of the bundle got me super excited at first, thinking there might be some nice cold/ice effects in it.
But no, the only "cold" thing in the bundle is the cryolab.
Am I just confused about what a "cryomancer" is or does the bundle name just not make sense?
The bundle name just doesn't make sense. Cryomancers can control/manipulate ice, in the same way that pyromancers do for fire, electromancers do for electricty, etc.
There is absolutely nothing about this bundle or any of the content that deals with this. They threw in a cryolab, decided the word sounded cool, and that's it. I would usually expect a cyberpunk bundle with a magic twist to be focused on a character that used electromancy or technomancy (and they already have Moirah the Conjurer), and so I was actually kind of excited to see how they worked cryomancy in.
Turns out they didn't even bother.
Glad to know I'm not the only person disappointed about this.

Right? We've got electromancy and technomancy stuff but it would've been really neat to see a character who used ice/cold powers instead! I can see where it could fit into a cyberpunk setting as well. With conventional natural resources running low, the megacorporations respond by doing what they do best and either harvest another natural resource (natural-born cryomancers) or create them artificially in order to serve as a workforce to keep all the tech that supports the upper crust lifestyle cool, etc.
Or what about quantum magnetic levitation?!
Instead we get a cryolab and nothing else that even hints at the title, not even shoulda-been-part-of-the-bundle add-ons. Not that the cryolab doesn't look cool (heh) but I think tsarist has the right of it unironically. They just wanted a "really cool" name (heh heh) and that's as far as the thought process went.

Of course if you go to the original meaning of the -mancer suffix, 'one who practices a certain form of divination' then a cryomancer would be someone who practices divination using cold or ice. (Like reading the frost crystals of a cryopod to determine the future of the frozen person inside...) but yeah, I'd have love to have seen a set of ice magic fx and props.
