Saved Scene Errors

in The Commons
Lately I've been having an issue where I load a saved scene, and my character morph is dialed out. If I proceed to dial in the morph, it messes up part of the character (face, hands, etc.). This is a custom morph, not an out of the box character. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so how was it solved?

Messed up how? Has the morph been saved as a Morph Asset, or is it still embedded in the scene file?
I saved it as a morph slider. The first time I tried it, the jaw and eyes were messed up (like the teeth were protruding through the jaw). The second time, the hands looked like they were folding in on themselves, and trying to pose the hands in the "grasp" pose made the fingers stretch out.
But it was OK initially? It sounds as if the ERC links to the joint adjustments were lost for the hand issue, I'm nto sure about the jaw issue.
It was ok when I initially saved the scene; the problem started when I re-opened the scene. I just tried again, and now the shoulders and arms are messed up.
Maybe I made a mistake when I saved the slider? I followed a tutorial on YouTube, and I think I did all the steps correctly? But that still doesn't explain why the morph isn't saved with the scene file in the first place.
What were the steps? Have you checked the log file for errors after loading the scene (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File)?
This is the tutorial I followed (assuming this link is allowed)

I'll have to check the log file when I get home tonight to see if there were any errors.
Ok, so now when I load my character from the "scene subset" saved version, I get an error message saying EVERY morph I have loaded is missing, even though all of the products are still installed.
What is the exact location of some of the files, and what is the path of the content directory they are in?
I'd have to check, but everything was installed thru the install tab within the program.
Ok, so I deleted and re-created the character, and now she loads from the scene subset folder with all morphs intact - except when I try to pose her, her arms are all borked again; her shoulders bend weird so her arms end up inside her torso. I have no idea what happend or how to fix it!
Combining morphs as in the tutorial is not really a good idea - you lose all the adjustments to joint centres (which I think is your posing issue) and corrective morphs that are linked to the original morphs. I really don't recommend doing it.
But what is causing the missing morphs issue? It also happened with another custom character which I saved as a scene subset, not a slider.
What are the actual locations of the "missing" files, and what are your content directories?
