It looks like that is the texture that is supposed to be there to give it detail. You may be able to remove it by disconnecting the bump or the normal map on the surfaces tab in the iray shader by setting it to none or 0.
I think there's something else there. It looks like there is a polka dot style pattern of dots that are in rows and columns, not just the texture of the outfit. It's hard to see, but more noticeable in the left and bottom of the first image, and at the very bottom of the second image where there is less light. It's kind of like the artifacts one would get from scanning something at low resolution so the dots that make up the image have been combined in a way that produces an undesirable pattern.
Never mind what I just said. I think this shows the dots better, and the way its done does make it look like it must be intentional. But why?
What outfit is it we are looking at?
If it's not the bump map or normal map, check the Surfaces > Glossy or Surfaces > Diffuse > Dual Lobe for maps plugged in there (click on the image box and choose None).
BTW, I LOVE your dForce Badass, Hello Winter, Goddess, and healthy&elegant!
This doesn't look like bump or normal to me.
It could be in one of the glossy maps, but more likely it's baked into the diffuse map, and it's probably intentional by the creator.
Just a guess.
Hrm..yeah. I couldn't see the "dots" at first on the original image because it was so dark. That is certainly intentional. If you are lucky it migh be where Hylas said. Only other thing to do is check the diffuse and see if its there. If it is, not much you can do except change to a different shader if that is a zoned section. If it's not a mat zone you could make one yourself if needed, but it prob won't work with the geometry editor on that diagonal. Only other way is to modify the diffuse itself, which if the texture type detail is baked in, might kill that detail. Hard to tell without seeing the maps.
