Where do I add a new tab to get my environment settings back and why are they gone to begin with

Upon uploading the most modern version the environment tab or rather the slider within render settings is gone apparently you have to go through some [steps] now and add it as its own separate slider I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to permanently put it back where it was since it was perfectly fine where it was to begin with and didn't need being fixed

You can add them from the Create menu (to create the scene node, which also enables the settings in Render Settings) or by using the proview mode or rendering. If you add the nodes to an empty scene and save that you can go to Edit>Preferences (Daz Studio>Preferences on a Mac) and in Start up and/or Scene set that as the file to load; the first will load the scene, with render settings nodes, on launch and the second on creating a new scene.
