Product Renaming? RIP PoserContent?

Unbelievable,
It looks like Daz3.com starts massive product renaming (titles and links). Compare this

I can't believe this...
WHY? Rebranding? WHY? What about backlinks from Pinterest, Twitter, Posercontent or something else? What are you doing daz3d?
I don't know how PoserContent will deal with this, but I hope we will NOT start thread named "RIP PoserContent" soon. I crossed my fingers...
Comments
I'm pretty sure that first one is because they want to be careful about copyright. Not sure why "morph" was removed, I could only guess that word was causing some sort of problem. (There was a Havana Hair that's now Haven Hair, for example.) The last two are probably to clarify in which figures the product worked on.
One reason for renaming products is Paypal's habit of refusing to complete transactions on certain products because of their name - I've had this happen twice.
What's the big deal if Daz rename a few of their products anyway? It's their store and their products and they can change the names if they want.
Of course, they can change titles, but not links. Changing links is a last thing, that you should do, especially when pages exists for years. It's a SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) rules, not mine. So, think twice before you create a new one or changing existing.
I guess there are hundreds (maybe thousands) changed links, not a few. I contacted posercontent and they were "surprised"... and they deleted products with broken backlinks from posercontent, because for site's algorythm these products looks like not available in daz3d's store anymore.
Nice shot, daz3d. :)
Updated: Posercontent said they will recover all products they deleted. But it requires a time they said.
I don't want to give any secrets away, but "RIP PoserContent" is right in the title of this thread.
Anyway, it's up to PoserContent to update their website. The internet's not a Fire and Forget way to make affiliate bucks ad aeternum.
Ok, let's forget about posercontent. It's their problem, not ours.
Daz3d.co should use 301 Redirection to save backlinks from Pinterest or Twitter, etc. It's classic.
