Looking For A Tent/Canopy

in The Commons
Hi all!
I'm looking for something like one of those 10x10 pop up canopies or a "party tent" with white tent material/nylon
for the top that allows light through but remains a solid color.
I've tried using DE Nomadic Tentz, changing out the textures and lowering the opacity, but that lets you see out rather than let light in.
Suggestions? Maybe a solid white dforce material with some lights on the interior surface?
Let me know what you think!

How about something like the Fabric Gazebo?
It only comes with a green texture, but you could always use a different shader and adjust the translucency settings as necessary until it's letting however much light you want through. Translucency is what allows a surface to diffuse light, opacity adjusts how transparent it is. You can use whatever tent takes your fancy, honestly, just adjust the Translucency Weight until the material diffuses the light to your liking.
Edit: As an example, here is the gazebo. I just reshaded the SideFabric and TopFabric surfaces (SS Heavy Nylons White from Uber+ Iray Smooth and Silky, removed the map from Cutout Opacity + added the bump map to Base Bump), and on TopFabric I set the Translucency Weight to 0.30 so that it diffuses the light from the default HDRI.
Also, for fun and because you mentioned both light coming in and lights on the inside, one from the outside (I added a tiny bit of translucency to SideFabric):
This was EXACTLY what I was looking for and it worked perfectly. Thank you so much!
Awesome, happy to help! Predatron did a great job with the gazebo, the surfaces make it a really easy piece to customize.
