Hair: Please give correct descriptions for hair products

in The Commons
Again I just purchased strand based hair by mistake. I was excited, for it says "DForce hair" in the product descriptions, but DForce Hair does not neccesary mean "strand based Hair". There is also polygon based DForce hair.
So if you vendors offer strand based hairs, then please label them as "strand based hair".
Comments
I think Linday is the only vendor who makes dForce hair which is not strand-based - she used the cloth dforce for the hair.
Unfortunately, Daz picked some confusing naming, as several dForce compatible hairs preexisted their strand based system. (Something like "dHair" would have been a better name I think)
However, I think they've mostly fixed products so if the naming is dForce Hair, it actually does mean strand based. If it says "hair with dForce", it's transmapped polygons.
Also, look under "compatible software". Assuming no mistakes have been made, if it says "dForce Hair", it's strand based. If it says "dForce cloth", it's not.
Biscuits and Samsil also do "Hair with dForce". Mihrelle has done hair both ways. Linday has also done at least one dForce strand-based hair.
Yep, needs to be properly stated. SBH kills my machine.

and SBH is useless for FBX export to iClone
sending to Unreal
conversion to blended weight for Carrara it's only unrenderable polylines too though perfectly rigged
so pretty much DAZ studio and apparently Cinema 4D only and being PA only plugin developers are limited in how they can address this
