But the dForce Daydream for Genesis 8 Female(s) has long sleeves and in the promo, she appears with no sleeves. Does it have an option for taking them off?

And what about the shorts?

and with the top, if the sleeves don't have a specific material zone you can hide, you can always use the geometry editor to select the sleev polygons and then hide them.

The sleeves are separate material zones, and you can hide them.   Shorts answer checks out.
