Either direction, it depends upon how the expressions are made and luck of the draw with the bones. If they are morph expressions "as is" no.

Like Catherine said, it depends on how they're made and what's involved. If they're a pose rather than a morph (e.g. Unique Smiles), then you can load them and any pose controls that exist on both G3F and G8F will dial in. However, G8F has quite a few more controls than G3F does and some that do basically the same thing were renamed, so the expression will usually look quite different. It's especially evident around the mouth.
