Updates to G8F & G8M Starter Essentials in DIM

DIM is now showing me updates to the G8F/M starter essentials, G8F Expressions & Powerpose templates and G8F Male Anatomical Elements ...  what  changes does the starter esssentials update consists of ?

    Cuz there is a separate male part for Genesis 8.1 female!

    Exactly. The male and female are different meshes, so the male gens had to be added to work on the female mesh.

    Apparently you can now apply the male elements to the female figure too.

    Anyone else having issues with the new starter essentials set? It does install nicely with DIM, and does show up in Studio 4.12 in place of the old package - including the new content. I have started DAZ Studio in offline mode. Once I switch to working online, the smart content metadata for the starter essentials is completely removed. The files are still there. 

    Given the current issues with esp. opacity, I am not really enthusiastic upgrading to 4.15.

    going to try uninstalling and reinstalling as not in the folders either

    Win7 rig it worked

    After doing the update of 4.15 resources now the G8 female starters essentials are missing from my smart content. Doing a reinstall is not helping too. 

    The g8 female content is actually showing inside the G8 male powerpose template in the smart content

    I have filed a ticket. I am pretty sure the metadata Studio is getting from the DAZ server(s) while online is messing things up, at least on my setup (4.12, macOS 10.15)

    From what I read on the sales blurb page it seems the Genesis 8 Female Anatomical Elements won't get updated until Michael 8.1 is released.

    Am I the only one who doesn't see an update to the starter essentials? I've tried restarting DIM numerous times and nothing is showing up.

    Ok so I followed some update thing on this page which was probably the wrong thing to do: https://helpdaz.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055211892-How-to-update-Update-your-Daz-Studio-Default-Resources-package-DIM-or-DazCentral-to-4-15-

    Now I've uninstalled the "Default Resources for Daz Studio 4.15+." and when I went to reinstall the files, they don't show up in DIM anywhere. I can't download them and there's no sign of it anywhere in DIM WTF is going on... What is this for and can I just ignore the files?

    Just to test it, I uninstalled the starter essentials for both G8M and G8F. When I went to reinstall the files, they, like the "Default Resources for Daz Studio 4.15+." are not showing up for download. WTF
