DIM 8.1 Updates to Genesis 8 Starter Essentials?

Will any of these product updates appearing in DIM have any adverse impact on my existing library of Genesis 8 figures and content?

I am assuming these updates were done to accomodate the new 8.1 content.

    They didn't for me, just added things.

    The 8 stuff will be exactly as it was before, and only be an 8.1 figure if you load the 8.1 base first.. laugh

    I guess there's always issues like that, and there's bound to be some people affected differently with different setups. But for me there hasn't been that i've noticed yet (this might change). 

    There are a few 8 things in different places for 8.1, and a few non working controls (and broken powerpose for 8.1) but it mostly seems fine (again, for me). laugh

    It had an adverse effect for me. My base Genesis 8 Female has disappeared. I'm getting soooo tired of this @#$&!

    Thanks. I'm going to hold off on installing the updates.

    Seems like there are always issues with anything new and I don't need the headaches right now.
