Weird issue since Genesis 8.1 update

I've done a zip install of the new Genesis8FemaleStarterEssentials.
By double clicking the Genesis 8 Female or Female 8.1 Icon, I get an error message saying:
"Could not open file: /People/Genesis 8 Female/Genesis 8.1 Basic Female.duf File does not exist",
BUT clicking and dragging the file into the editor DOES work.
This makes no sense. What is broken here?
