I have tried it both ways, first bring in genesis 8 and fitting to figure and nothing, it does not attach to figure to goes underneath it and smaller, and I did it in reverse bring in clothing first and fit to genesis 8 figure same result. Nothing seems to work. Like I said there is nothing in the library only a genesis 8.1 library.....just does not work. Trust me I want it to work, but it doesn’t.
I don’t want to tell you the item of clothing, because not sure if this is the vendors fault, however the title of the item I purchased said this:
“(clothing) for Genesis 8 Male and Michael 8.1......”
now when I purchase any clothing that states.....for Genesis Male (or) Female, I can actually use them on any character.....but apparently the way this clothing is created it can only be used on Genesis 8 male and Michael 8.1, and any of the specific characters actually listed with description below......and won’t fit any other character. Customer service told me this also.
This is a real bummer to know that it defiantly is not like before when you could be more versatile with other characters
Okay so customer service got back to me and said as followed: The item of clothing that states this in the titl
I'll just mention this compatability issue in case anyone else was confused like I was. It was solved for me in another thread.
Even though the V8.1 bundle lists Genesis 8 Male Anatomical Elements, it is not actually G8M elements. They are actually "Genesis 8.1 Male Genitalia For Female (8.1)". Richard pointed out for me that new gens were needed for edges to weld in place correctly.
The same applies for the female anatomical elements for the 8.1 male. It might have been helpful for the product page to list "Genesis 8.1 Male Genitalia For Female" rather than just G8M anatomical elements.
So the clothing doesn't pick up morphs? That sounds as if it has the whole thin assigned to a rigidity group - you can check that by selecting a piece of the clothing, then with the Geometry Editor active in the Tool Settinsg pane switch to vertex Selection and check the list of groups - if there is/are Rigidity groups click the + next to the name(s) and see if you end up with the whole outfut selected. You can remove the rigidity groups, though it may cause other issues.
Oh really wow
