Chest Morph Showing on Socks [SOLVED]

Hey.

I have made a breast morph that for some reason keeps showing up on socks whenever I load them onto the character. She's G3F, and I used ERC Freeze to create the morph when I made it.

Tested many types of clothes, and I can safely say that it only affects clothes that use the legs. Pants, leggings, socks and such have the chest morph applied to them, even though the shape doesn't appear when you use the slider. I've tried Daz created chest morphs, but they don't show up on the socks, even though mine does. I did check in the parameters that the chest morph can only be used if the character morph I made is used also, so could that be affecting the socks? But it doesn't show up on shorts or panties, so I don't have any clue really.

If anyone has an idea what could be causing this, let me know.

  • That probably means there is some small change to the feet or lower legs included in your morph somehow.

Thanks for responding, but I forgot to mention that it doesn't show up on shoes of any kind, except for those that touch the knees. Plus, I didn't touch the feet when I sculpted the breasts in Blender. Didn't even go into edit mode for it at the time.

It just makes me wonder why it only happens to those items in particular. Anything from the thighs down, except for shoes.

I just checked the morph now, minutely watching for any changes in the body on the legs and feet, and even with wire texture shading on, I saw absolutely no movement there. The only movement was the breasts themselves, way up in the pectoral section. It doesn't make sense. Of course, since the offending items don't show any change either when worn, then I guess I can live with it.....I'd just like to know why it's doing it.

Mentioning the knees like I did at the top, they could be causing it, even though I saw no movement when sliding the breast morph back and forth.

  • I thought of something, and checked if the character slider I made for her was the culprit, as the breast morph was listed inside it. Sure enough, removing the dependency inside the control morph parameters made the breast morph disappear from the boots I was testing. I have seen others create a control morph for a character with a breast morph added, but those didn't affect the clothes like pants etc when I tried them. It's strange, and a little annoying, but I figured out what was causing it, I guess.

Can anyone think of some way of still having the morph in the control morph without it showing in the socks etc?

  • Okay, third comment in a row, but this is a resolution to my problem.

It was indeed the control morph I had made for my character, but I was still able to keep the breast morph inside it's parameters. All I needed to do was take it out, then put it back in again, so that it showed at the bottom of the hierarchy of added morphs. Before it was near the top (above the body morph - which was its parent, actually), and this seemed to make it show up in the socks, pants etc. Now with the morph at the bottom of the control morph's list, it doesn't show up anymore. So, that solved the problem. If anyone needs a similar problem resolved, that may be the issue - load order, in a sense.
