Head Morphs from G8F to G8.1F doesnt transfer correct (or do they?)

Or is it that the new 8.1 starts from another 0 morph or 0 expression?
Anyway these models have the exact same head morphs but still the 8.1 version look different.
The one to the right has that "Mona Lisa" smile on her but that smile isnt there on the 8.1 model
There are also differences with the nose and lips if you look close.
Any solution to transfer G8 morphs to G 8.1 so that they show up correct?

G8.1 has a new morph to improve the shaping inside of the mouth, and has default SubD levels one higher, but I don't believe there are other changes.
Those two both look very similar to me, but the difference in the angle and distance to the camera makes it hard to tell for certain. If you want to be certain about the differences, you'll have better luck comparing them if they're in exactly the same position. (Colour one red and the other blue so you can tell them apart)
I will make a new comparision with the same pose and position for both.
the differences are more clear in the texture preview than they are on the final renderer.
And use the same lighting - because that can be a reason for them looking different too.
its probably in my head then ;)
Same poses same Scale this time (The 8.1 was smaller on the renderer above) and the same Lighting.
I post the first
Second one is rendering right now
They look the same to me...the only difference I'm seeing is with the lips and that looks like it's a UV mismatch.
i have corrected the textures and the lips now.
i forgot about the second renderer
35K iray iterations later :) (RTX3090)
The differences are in the eye area if you flip between those to images
the hair seems to fit different also.
I also have a 3090 and i don't let it run anywhere near that long; a few hundred at most is usually plenty.
There are differences. That's the point of 8.1.
Also, it's hard to compare morphs when the texture is different. You'd need to use a neutral shader for that.
it depends
this is HDRI lighting and its much faster.
you get 10K iterations in like 20 minutes.
i also use rendering quality set at 100 so that takes a while longer
