Jewellery doesn't stay in place

I have a problem with some earrings.

The problem is that they don't stay in place. If I move the character, despite being parented in place to her, the rings don't move accordingly/don't stay on the ears. 

They only "follow" the character if I move him completely on the xyz-axes. If I change the pose of the head for example the rings don't stay on their place, but hang in empty space now.

Can someone help?

    Did you parent them to the head?

    Parented them now directly to the ear and it works.

    I have an open ticket for an outfit where the earrings are parented to the eyes, so that the earrings move as the character looks around.  Parenting them to the ears fixed them, but it's pretty silly.

    It's just another one of those impossible beauty standards for girls.
