Did some work today because it is Wednesday and starts with a W the same as Work so thought it would be auspicious for an easy afternoon, and it was !

I was supposed to wash my few white shirts to wear under my uniform but of course they did not get washed.

Back to the drawing board. My north wall didn't work. For some reason, wire didn't stop the cold.

Everybody that's sick: get well now.

Renders: I'm enjoying all of them. The latest public beta release has slowed my laptop down to a crawl, maybe even put it in reverse.

I recommend a sheet metal fence. Should work great! :)

4.7 works fairly well on this lappy if I keep IPR off until final preview. IPR full-time on this machine is a no-no. :blank:

On Keflex now. That's worked when I've had stomach bugs in the past. Hopefully will be happy soon! :)

Now to find something inoffensive for lunch.. maybe get a cheese pizza delivered.. :blank:

...I'd go with soup, cheese can actually be difficult to digest if you have stomach ills. Also Ginger Beer (non alcoholic). Maybe a Thai Ginger noodle soup if you can find some.

I ended up ordering a large wonton soup and some ginger chicken.. nothing spicy or difficult to digest.

The nearest Thai place is 8 miles away! :long: .. and I can't find non-alcoholic ginger beer here to save my life! :shut:

...yikes, don't want to see one of those flying about, though with the cold and winds we've been getting, it would probably just burrow in somewhere.

Another sunny but cold (even more so than yesterday) windy day again. Only 34° with steady 30+ mph winds from the Columbia Gorge gusting to 45. High Wind warnings still up until tomorrow afternoon with gusts as high as 60 mph possible here on the east side. Days like this make me glad I lost that job at the call centre, Where they are located it is all out in the open with no shelter from the wind at the bus stop. Could not imagine standing there waiting 35 minutes for the bus to go home in 40 - 60 mph winds.

At the airport there were wind gusts in excess of 50 mph earlier this morning (54 mph at around 05:00). Lots of scattered power outages (lights flickered a couple of times last night). Expecting reports of more disruptions and damage today. Fortunately many of the trees have dropped or been stripped of their leaves by now or the damage would be much worse.

Currently with the wind it feels like only 20°. Definitely a "wrap up and stay inside" kind of day today as I feel another cold coming on. This is a pattern that we don't usually experience until late December - though January.

...even just ginger ale will help. Worse comes to worse, the hard variety might be better than nothing.

Hate stomach woes worse than the cold I had the other week (and which I feel beginning again). At least with a cold, tea, hot soup, my curries, Fisherman's Friend™ and Theraflu™ make it easier to function.

Get better (won't use the "s" word here because then it would hang on forever).

Thanks! I had some pickled ginger left from the last sushi order, nibbling that with my wonton soup. Fairly happy, will nap in a bit. :)

Stay warm and don't get too sick!!!

    Poor Mike he was exploring
A dark cave without a map
He walked out of a tunnel
And then fell into a trap!
    His struggles growing weaker
    But no, he isn't dead
    That is gonna happen
When the monster eats his head!

...especially bad with the wintery weather on the way. Working in a warehouse for over 18 years on cold concrete floors during the winter I believe has definitely contributed to my joint and bone woes.
