...well considering Green Bay is playing tonight, for me it's football.

I opted for football.. a wise move on my part

Blowout so far over a Falcons team with flashes of brilliance.. but they can't handle the Packers.. :ahhh:

Just refreshed that tab and yup, I got it, too! Read through it all.

ETA: It was interesting reading it while listening to Inchantcation! :) Gave it the proper spooky feel.

I'm flattered you're listening :red: :red:

..second half not going so good. Falcons got a TD on first possession after which Green by shot themselves in the foot twice with bonehead penalties for total of 25 yards, one (holding) which killed our first drive of the half and the other (facemask) which kept an Atlanta drive alive that ended in a field goal. With the way Rayn is moving the ball down-field in the this half. Rodgers seems a bit out of sync here. maybe they need to go back to the no huddle offence again to wear the Falcon's defence down.

...ten point game now Atlanta has outscored us 17 - 3 so for this half so far. Makes me wonder if the choke prone Wisconsin Badgers defence suited up for Green Bay after halftime.

Too close considering how effective Ryn hs been this half (and the GB defence just as ineffective).

..ugh, Packers pretty much choked away that big lead. Atlanta outscored Green Bay 30 - 9 in the second half. It's really looked as if a totally different team took the field for Green Bay after halftime.

If it were not for two big plays with two minutes left (one a 42 yard run by Starks) for the Packers to the Atlanta 5 where they ran out the clock (while forcing the Falcons to burn all their timeouts), we could have been looking at a real embarrassment, squandering 24 point first half lead to lose by 1, 44 - 43. Already had enough embarrassment for one week with Wisconsin being destroyed by Ohio State 59 - 0 on Saturday.

What was really pathetic, the Packers recovered an onside kick just inside Atlanta territory with about six minutes left and couldn't even get a first down let alone sustain a time consuming scoring drive (most likely causing Atlanta to use their timeouts earlier) to put the Falcons in "desperation mode" instead.

Meanwhile, Atlanta kept playing aggressively, continuing to go with the "no huddle" offence all game while McCarthy abandoned it after the first half. In the end our defence ended up more haggard than theirs and we had to burn timeouts way too early just to change personnel and give the guys a little bit of a rest.

Sometimes I question Mike McCarthy's decisions, even though, yeah, he makes the "big bucks" and I don't.

Maybe Green Bay shouldn't run up such a big lead early in the game anymore as it appears (at least tonight and on a couple other occasions) when they do, they don't play with the same drive for the rest of the game. They should take a lesson from Ohio State last Saturday, just keep pounding away, no matter how far ahead you are for if you don't you risk giving the momentum away to your opponent.

Yes, either it's changed and you need to agree to the change or it's an error - I will ask.

Just in case you hadn't already seen the answer in another thread

Apparently someone accidentally resaved the HTML, so it has a newer time-stamp. Nothing has changed.

Yeah, I spent the second half hiding under the covers, wondering what had happened. A serious fad out there!

Still sick, tired of Theraflu, BUT I managed to get some real sleep last night and slept late, so I feel somewhat less miserable.

Soup for breakfast and lunch! :cheese: Very non-traditional. Maybe the traditional Chicken Noodle for dinner.

Coffee time.. then either music or renders. :)

...yeah, though still made for an awfully tense evening.

Usually when I yell at the computer, it's because Windows, FF, or a programme like Word or Daz 4.7 did something stupid.

I'm no teenager anymore, angst is not a good thing.

So far, I have to disagree. Couldn't get up. Rain, heavy rain, strong winds. My sump pump has been active. It seems we've gotten different Tuesdays.
