    ..and in the suckatude category.

Bad enough the Wisconsin Badgers were stomped in that embarrassing 59 - 0 loss to Ohio State in the the Big Ten Championship this past Saturday.

Well, over on ESPN, today their star player and Heisman Trophy candidate, sophomore running back Melvin Gordon, announced he will be leaving school to enter the NFL draft. Losing Gordon pretty much leaves the Badgers with no offence for next year as Wisky's passing game has always been anemic at best (save for the one year we had Russell Wilson), and was really pathetic this season.

...but wait, like one of those bad late night infomercials, "there's more".

Just a few hours later Wisconsin's head coach Gary Anderson announced he was leaving too, heading to Oregon State to fill the position vacated by Mike Riley who went to Nebraska. Not a good crop of candidates out there to fill his shoes either.

So not only is Wisky's most potent weapon gone, but so is our coach. A total one - two kick to the ribs for the programme after the merciless beating they took last weekend both physically and reputation wise. Not the kind of "hat trick" I care to see.

This portends to be very bad for recruitment.

...guess I'll have to get used to them being a doormat again.

Not been a very good day today.

Well, this hotel has HBO, which I loathe. I only use the "real" TV for near realtime football. And I'm within inches of paying for the NFL Network. :blank:

Most TV bores me, it's for people with a 30 second attention span. ;down: And I can sit down and focus on one thing for *hours* which is the only reason I'm a programmer! :smirk:

Reading and concentration are a lost art in the world of Tweets and Facebook posts. And that will further polarize the people, those who can do, and those who can only consume.

I gotta go sit and wait while they work on a recall on our vehicle tomorrow. They say it should only take 30minutes. Hope that's the case.

Whatever they tell you, multiply it by 2 and add 15 minutes. Let me know if I was close. :)

is it too early to eat an aftereight dinner mint?

It doesn't say "After 8PM", so 8AM should count.

It also doesn't say "After 8 pm today!" So, 2:30 am next Tuesday will be after 8:00 pm sometime.

Back at work, feeling blechhy but earning money. It'll be just enough to cover bills this week, whew!

Guts ache, head feels fuzzy, having trouble rewiring this dang replacement board in because of fuzzy eyeballs.

Not going to be a good day.

Bank run at lunch, refill from medical expenses. :blank: And it looks like rain.

    Oh woe is me! *cry"*
