Almost time to head out for some tasty Mexican food, I'll order out sushi tomorrow to eat whist I watch football. :)

Then a few beers on the bar deck.. it's 67F already!

Then home to render for a bit, watch Dr. Who, and maybe some college ball!

Sushi is delicious if you dip it in batter and fry it. ;-)

Good morning, Kulay. I'm happy to see that you made it through last night. I can't eat scrambled eggs when I first get up. After a couple of hours of yard work, maybe. Definitely for supper, with taco sauce on them. Teas are nice, but I gots to have my cawffeeee.

...if I had eggs for brekkie, I'd have to call in sick for the day.

Another morning full of beautiful sunshine. I should work on cleaning the house today, but the yard is calling me. Why am I kidding myself? I'll sit right here playing with my goodies from the PC sale and trying out the Carrara beta while watching football.

    ...Rivalry Day in college football:

Auburn and Alabma (known as the "Iron Bowl").
Ohio State and Michigan (Michigan just scored to go up 14 - 7).
Wisconsin and Minnesota (this is the second oldest rivalry game, the winner goes to the Big Ten Championship to face Ohio State).
Oregon and Oregon State (known as the "Civil War"and is the longest running rivalry in all of college football).

Welp, fan broke for the second time on my old laptop. Think it's really on it's way out, only a matter of time now...

Making do with some of the stuff on my new laptop. Got Photoshop reinstalled and registered, Vue 10 Complete... Just need to find a way to get Cinema 4D onto it (I only have the disc, no download version. Can't download the trial and activate that since they're only offering R16 and I'm still on R13. My Zbrush download link has expired so....

Oh yeah, and my desktop won't start either - so putting the disc in and then installing it wirelessly onto my laptop is a no-go as well >_>
    *sigh*

Ah well, not like I'm doing much lately anyway. Finally plugged my tablet in for the first time in a month too.

In the meantime, mostly been playing games and getting some commissioned art. Some really nifty stuff too.
Example, my two dinosaurs - Claw the velociraptor and Dilo the Dilophosaurus - with Claw riding some little spaceship ride and embarrassing her friend...
And a really cool painting of my friend's snake character lashing out at someone/thing. Super detail!

...41° and cloudy here with the temperature continuing to drop all day into the 20s by tonight,. Chance of rain later though we dodged the snow threat once again. However Monday morning is going to be a mess with freezing rain. Have a friend scheduled to fly to the Bay Area for a business trip then who's just bit concerned. I'd be too as the airport is on the Columbia River directly in the path of the cold winds that funnel into the upper part of the valley from the east.

But then it's no longer sushi, and that pretty much defeats the whole purpose of getting it in the first place :P

Heh, I've got a few friends who loooove sushi something serious. To the point where their faces are quite recognized by their local sushi places (And the waiters panic when they see them come in! And no I'm not kidding either.)

Coincidence or not, they're all "raptors" (We had surochek the 'dragon', and a sculptor 'fox' that I haven't seen in a while...)
    Xane the Deinonychus
    Echrei the Utahraptor
    Ixerin the Deinonychus

    Heh x)

I got a Starbucks cookie and no time to eat it.

    You serve steaks? Cool.

Philly steaks and chicken sandwiches and gourmet fries and signature lemonade. Yeah I work for a place that sells Philly steaks.

...bugger, Wisky's down 14 - 3 to Minnesota at the end of the first quarter

Special teams letting us down, fumbled punt on the 13 resulted in one Minnesota score and a lousy punt by Wisconsin put Minnesota in good field position for the other one and to top it off a bonehead penalty (facemask) puts Minnesota at midfield.after what would hve been great punt and tackle back at the Minnesota 19.

Too many mistakes in too short a time and Minnesota about to score again because of the great field position on a stupid Wisconsin mistake.

    Sloppy...Sloppy...Sloppy!

Actually sat outside at the corner pub on Tuesday afternoon it was so nice.

There are few things as happiness-making as hanging out on a bar patio, drinking a nice brew, and reveling in the Sun :red: :red:

As I get older, the things I thought were boring as hell have become comforting times :blank: :blank:

Getting old mostly sucks, but sometimes it's not so bad :red: :red:

Compys off all day yesterday, shady spot on a sunny beach and beer sure felt 21st century after a while

TroutFace, haven't you found a place with limo service up there yet? The Gulf of Mexico if a scary place. A manatee was found in Trinity Bay (near Bayport) the other day, rescued, and taken to SeaWorld. The underwater cameras on off-shore rigs seem to pick up new monsters every week. Cyclops shark, big blobs, anglefish...I'm not sure I want to go to Galveston's beach again.

Limo service is hard to come by up here, pretty much it's DIY or taxis. Meh, no big deal.

I've been seeing a lot of odd critters come out of the water down there.. I'd stay on the beach an just watch! :ahhh:

Sounds a lot like St Kilda Beach
