For once a bit flush with cash (and gee, no Newegg sale email).

Yeah ate and drank a lot myself. The friends I went out with took me to a pretty fancy place for dinner after the cinema. Had a huge (and I men huge) slab of trout prepared to perfection, severl glasses of wine and after that couple glasses of my favourite Scot's Whiskey the bar (and generous pours at that)

Beforehand saw Big Hero 6. The animation was well done and a very nice story.

...oh yeah, also picked up Girl 6 yesterday for 9$ (still had my PC coupon).

Big Hero 6? Is there a Pro Bundle?

Thank heavens I made it home! :ahhh:

Bank was packed with people grabbing piles of cash for post-Christmas sales. Walmart Market was a ZOOO, only 2 manned chedkout lines and the self-checkouts all weren't taking cash. :ahhh: Thankfully, the liquor store was dead so I got a small bottle of Crown Royal, a bottle of Svedka Vanilla vodka, and a large bottle of regulaar Svedka vodka. :cheese:

And then, at the bus stop,, it starts to sprinkle.. uhoh.. and my umbrella is at the bottom of a completely stuffed pack! :bug:

I almost made it home when it started pouring...

So, clothes hung up to dry, damp me in front of the computer, but I don't have to go out again all weekend if I don't want to! :cheese: :cheese:

Time to install my new virtual instruments, and maybe play with Steph a bit.. :snake:

I dream of a place so far away, where
I hod you close, in this phantasm wishes
Become dreams and I cast my desire into
    The empty darkness below me.

I look into your eyes, all emerald fire
Opening my veins for you, all i can do
Is believe, for you are gone, and in this
Place, only your love makes me real.

So many come, the breath of hundreds
Calls me back into a place I hate, I will
Never, ever, let you consume me
But I will sell my soul for you.
    '
..I hate the end of the year.. the whole freaking year is like a weigh around me.. I introspect, wonder how I could have done better.. how, maybe, I could have made a difference..

Sorry, real drunk here. Please delete this post

Hang in there, Big Trout. This too will pass...along with all the food from the past days. I'm not belittling your pain. I know you are hurting. Just stick with us a bit longer.

I returned Reality 4 today. Two days wasted trying to get it installed. The message said it was installed, but DAZ never could find it. I couldn't either. Maybe when I get my new computer that Santa obviously forgot. Maybe Grandfather Frost or the Wise Guys will bring it next month. Could it be that Santa relies on Magento to handle his orders? If that is the case, perhaps the Easter Bunny will drop it off.

I'm rambling. Didn't get my nap today and it's still too early to go to bed.

Sunset on a perfect day, no wind so been drifting on (almost) glassy water for the past few hours seems a pity to be heading home :)

I have placed my most recent render onto the home page of my website. It is an image I created for greeting cards for my wife and mom and two sisters. I decided to put it up there. If anyone is interested and doesn't know my site's address I'll post it.

I spent three days on it, there's a lot in it and I was surprised at how fast DS rendered it at 1800 x 1125 pixels! Just under four minutes. Of course, I'm not using Reality...then it would have probably been just under four days!

    my site

The image there isn't 1800 x 1125, it was so big that I thought some folks might have trouble with it. Even as a jpg. So I sized it down. It's about the actual size on the greeting cards, though.
