Hello everyone! Decided t take today off and work Friday instead. Will still get plenty of hurs for bills.

I have spent the ENTIRE WEEKEND watching Mythbusters! :cheese: What a cool show, stream it straight from Discovery. Sip coffee, nibble cheese, watch rocket cars and shower-curtain parachutes!

I should work on some music later today.. but lots of naps will occur as well. Catch up on my sleep!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! :)

I just watched an episode of Mythbusters yesterday. They tried to prove the urban myth that if you leave your Christmas lights on the tree turned overnight you'll start a fire. Nope. Busted. At the end of the trials, they put 2,500 old fashioned big bulbs on a tree that that put in a kiln to dry...the thing was one big tinder...and it still didn't catch fire. Finally (because they like explosions and fires) they used a sparker to set it on fire. So, Christmas tree fires are started by short circuits due to faulty wiring or too many strings on the circuit which causes a short...or even by some dumb bunny putting actual candles on the branches and lighting them! But not from the heat of the bulbs.

i'm having trouble finding ram upgrade for my desktop

I've been told that due to availability, RAM for older computers is actually more expensive than that for new computers.

The other myth in the episode was anti-gravity devices, to help you narrow it down.

What's to register? I can't help you there. I hate hardware. There are so many different varieties of RAM that have very similar numbers that you have to be absolutely certain. I bring my computer to a shop for things like that. I ordered RAM online once, and had to return it because it was the wrong one. I called them and the guy helped me get the right one ordered, but wow, confusing!
