Have a doctor's appointment with a Dermatologist to check out the site where she removed a mole back in May. In November, I was told it had turned into a celtoid (extra scare tissue) and it was very sensitive to touch, even to necklaces. So she did a shot to reduce the scar tissue and numb the sensitivity, but the solution burned like fire even with a numbing agent. And I had gone on my own to the doctor that time. It was hard to drive back with one hand holding the seat belt away from the site.

And I have to go on my own again, cause Fiance can't get out of work today to drive me. the first shot worked wonders once the fire died down. I'm able to wear my necklaces again. I just want to make sure that all the extra scar tissue is gone.

    scare tissue?

    hopesing it all works out

complaint: all those emails that promise me millions of dollars are scams. I want money to buy stuff on Daz3d.com and Content Paradise. I still haven't decided whether to delete the account that is receiving spam or not. lol

I think I have a scar tissue on my chest too. I don't know how I got it. The area around the scar is all black. Eww.

i'm having trouble finding ram upgrade for my desktop

...been shopping around myself but the only two 24GB kits (6 x 4GB) I can find that are compatible with my MB are a GSkill and Corsair one, both which have these odd protrusions on the top of the sticks. The memory sticks I currently have (Corsair) don't look like that at all.

I suspect that those are sort of like heat sinks, or maybe exactly like heat sinks. I believe that higher end RAM has things like that, to dissipate the heat and keep the RAM running cooler without a meltdown. Must be tough to push it into the sockets with those thingies, though.

...that was exactly my thought as it takes a little force to make sure they are firmly seated in the slots. Not much into having pierced fingers.

I thought pierced fingers are all the rage these days?

I keep having these recurring dreams where I was needed at work, so I came out of retirement and went back. Now the dreams have built their own reality. I've been there for years now (in the dreams) and am trying to retire again but somehow can't. It weirds me out so much that when I wake up, I'm disoriented for a few minutes. I hate these dreams! Hopefully they'll stop soon. >:-(

I have weird dreams all the time. Some are work related, too. But this job was over on the last day of 1989. Worse yet, the location was in the older one, which they moved out of in the mid 80s. And the boss I had is now dead. But that's just one weird dream that seems to have recurred. :-S

...I've been having dreams I'm back at the old workplace (the one that laid me off back in '13) that have become more frequent.

Just had one again last night

Nothing bad happens during them as it seems it's just a normal workday each time. After all I went though both dealing with all the workplace mind games and the epic commute each day (basically living to work instead of working to live) I guess I could classify them as nightmares.

Alright, then, I AM an Electrical Engineer, and I'm here to tell you to watch out. The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) will soon be spamming your inbox to get you to join! You better stop messing with that stuff!

I also work on old cars, and old car radios. I helped a guy get his radio out so I could fix it. He couldn't get the thing out of the car. His words were, "That's above my pay grade."
